Professor: a relevant PhD degree in Physiology coupled with three (3) years of service as an Associate Professor and a satisfactory record of teaching, research and publications, and service to academic and wider community. A cumulative and sustained record of twenty-five (25) publications of which seven (7) must be refereed scholarly research outputs and must have been published since attaining the grade of Associate Professor; Of these, at least six (6) of the publications must be refereed journal articles.

• At least a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (Hons) or a related field, from a recognized institution of higher education; at least one (1) year experience in a chemistry laboratory; strong laboratory skills and proficiency with various analytical techniques and instruments; experience in a research setting and a Masters of Science in Chemistry will be an advantage

• Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years’ experience in university academic administration in the areas of assessment and examinations OR Grade 12 with a three-year diploma with five (5) years’ experience in university academic administration in the areas of assessment and examinations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field specializing in Learning and Development / Training.
  At least three (3) years’ relevant training or Human Resources Development experience, ideally in a higher education environment.

• A relevant PhD (Directorate Degree) in Ultrasound or equivalent imaging qualification from a recognized University, coupled with three (3) years of service as Lecturer and satisfactory record of teaching, research and publication, and service to the academic and wider community; at least four (4) publications of which two (2) must be referred scholarly research outputs and of which two (2) must have been published since attaining the rank of Lecturer.

• BVM or equivalent qualification. Unconditional Registration as a Veterinarian in Namibia, with up to 5 years of clinical experience in companion animals. Experience in the field of small animal surgery and with a Mobile Animal Clinic (MAC) (community and welfare veterinary service in remote areas) will be an advantage.
