• BSc or B. Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (NQF 7).
• 7 years’ experience in water & sanitation operations of which 5 years must be at a managerial level.
• Driver’s License Code EB

• National Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (NQF 6)
• 5 years experience in water & sanitation operations of which 3 years must be at the managerial level
• Valid Drivers’ License (Code EB)

6 years’ experience in wastewater treatment of which minimum of 2 years must be at supervisory level. Must be registered as Class V with the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS).

1. Matric/Grade 12 (or NTC III) plus Operators Certificate or 
2. Matric/ Grade 12 (or NTC III) plus Wastewater Treatment practice N3 or
3.  Matric/Grade 12 (or NTC III) plus the Core Unit Standards from the Water and Wastewater NQF 4 Qualification equivalent to a value of at least 30 credit or
4. NTCIII in Wastewater Treatment practice or
5. Wastewater Treatment NQF 4 Qualification

• Degree with majors/specialisation in Construction Law or LLB with experience in Construction contracts
• Eligibility to be registered as an Arbitrator with Arbitration SA
• Minimum 12 years of relevant contracts experience in infrastructure projects
• Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management and MFMA and contract law
• Knowledge and understanding of NEC/JBCC/FIDIC/GCC would be mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in infrastructure projects and Contract Cost Management
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management & related experience in MFMA and Contract Law
• Knowledge and experience in NEC / JBCC /FIDIC/ GCC
• Valid Drivers’ License + own transport

• Grade 12 or N3 (NQF4) + accredited certificate in business administration /secretarial (6 months).
•  2 years of general admin or secretarial experience.
•  Experience in SAP.

• Code EB
• Knowledge of SCADA, Basic Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Must be registered as class III with (DWS) Department of Water and Sanitation.
