  • National Diploma in Agriculture/Food Science/Microbiology or related fields and a relevant occupational certificate.
  • Knowledge of abattoir hygiene and meat safety, safety and standard regulations, ethical standards and consumer expectations for humane treatment of animals and technical knowledge of an abattoir, and lean management principles.
  • Ten years’ experience in the meat processing industry of which three (3) years at senior supervisory level, with a sound knowledge in meat processing operations.

Engineering Manager
  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or a relevant diploma. The successful candidate must have successfully completed a Recognized Management Development Program and Health and Safety, and Food Safety/HACCP certifications. Registration with ECN will be an advantage.
  • Ten years engineering experience within a plant process/utility/maintenance function. This must include people management experience with the skills of leading, developing, and training a technical diverse team.
