  • MBCHB or equivalent  plus a post graduate qualification in Microbiology Pathology at an accredited institution.
  • FCPath or MMED qualification in the relevant discipline
  • Registration with the Health Professionals Council of Namibia./ Authorization to practice by the Minister of Health and Social Services.
  • Relevant postgraduate, licensed training  in an accredited  clinical laboratory in the area of Microbiology pathology.
  • Specialist training  in Microbiology pathology.

Consultant: Haematopathologist
  • MBChB or relevant plus a post graduate qualification in Haematopathology specialisation at an accredited institution
  • Relevant postgraduate, training in an accredited clinical laboratory in the area of laboratory diagnostics/Haematopathology. Specialist training in flow cytometry, and/or molecular Haematology.
  • Registration with the Health Professionals Council of Namibia/ Authorization to practice by the Minister of Health and Social Services
